The Tamiya Novafox 1/10 Off-Road 2WD Buggy Kit is an updated version of the popular Novafox 2WD buggy. The Novafox was a compliment to the famous Hotshot in the late 1980s. The slim polycarbonate body replicates the look of a full-size racing buggy, and its markings take inspiration from the original model. Bright gold color metal-plated wheels are fitted with front ribbed and rear oval block tires for excellent off-road performance. The model includes a driver figure to finish off the cockpit.

This classic model retains the highly dust-resistant monocoque frame and 4-wheel independent double suspension, but has been updated to make it better suited to the modern R/C world. Dog-bone type drive shafts have been added, as well as a stabilizer to help neutralize chassis roll. A sealed gearbox and rear uprights now include a total of 8 ball bearings included as standard equipment, providing even more effective and efficient power transfer.
