The Nexa DHC-2 Beaver Kenmore Air is based on the single-engined, high-wing, propeller-driven STOL aircraft designed and built by de Havilland Canada. Commonly used as a bush plane, it has been deployed in a broad array of applications, ranging from cargo/passenger transport to crop dusting and aerial topdressing to civilian aviation.
The Nexa DHC-2 Beaver is a .46 size electric STOL aircraft with a 1620mm wingspan, constructed primarily from balsa wood and covered in the Kenmore Air livery. This ARF requires assembly and installation of your choice of servos and power system, and includes two piece wing with aluminum wing joiner, fiberglass cowl and operational pilot door. A large battery tray provides ample space for any size battery you require.
Nexa ARF models are constructed out of balsa wood and plywood. These are not foam models. The assembly of balsa wood ARF aircraft requires basic model building skills including the installation of servos, ESC, and motor (or gas engine).
